There
was panic at the Lagos audition of MTN Project Fame West Africa season 9
as the famous herbalist whos name is Awopeju Olaniyi Philips a.k.a King
Phillipiano, stormed the Ultima Studio in his full traditional regalia
to slug it out with other music enthusiasts, He was adorned in beads,
robes, animal skin and a horsetail to match, the chap claims his costume
represents the cultural diversity and the unity of the African
continent through music.
As
other participant at Ultima Studio hope to rise to fame at the end of
the competition, he had already gotten his fame on the spot of MTN
Project Fame platform.
However, King Phillipiano believed his
costume would prove his seriousness to the judges but unfortunately his
costume gave a negative impression as the judges were scared of giving
him a "Yes or No" as they gave others, which makes his audition
inconclusive.
He became the spotlight as his presence attracted
paparazzi on the yellow carpet, and his fame has spread across the
nations as all media giants now has his story published on there
platforms.
However,
the fame King Phillipiano sought seems to have come on the spot while
the panel of judges comprising Gloria Rhodes, CobhamsAsuquo, and Shola
Allyson are now the one battling with confusion in their mind as they
don't know if they should give the famous herbalist "Yes or No" and it's
as a result of the evil and bad image the Nigerian Nollywood Industry
have labelled herbalist in Nigeria.
